Writer and an accomplished speaker

Cyrus Rogers is a television producer, presenter, voice-over artist, writer and an accomplished speaker. Having spent his formative years in Harare, Zimbabwe he took the decision in 2000 to take the adventurous trip across the Limpopo to the land of his father’s birth, South Africa. With a larger than life personality and a keen sense of humour Cyrus has the qualities to make any event one to remember.

His main passions are speaking and television, having worked in the industry for seven years, both in front of and behind the camera for Summit Television and The Home Channel. Speaking has also been a large part of his life and became a real passion when he joined the Amateur Repertory Players theatre, where he acted sang and danced.

Working as a producer on many shows as varied as the popular ‘Design-a-Garden’ to the informative ‘Ask the property Experts’ he has also presented many programmes as well, including the topical ‘African Thought Leaders’ where he had the honour of interviewing such elder former statesmen as  F.W. De Klerk former President of South Africa and Sir Ketumile Masire former President of Botswana.

He was also part of the production team that won an Ibdaa award for their student documentary  ‘Word Up: A Hiphopumentary’ in 2004, as well as having won a Young Lion Award at the 2008 Property Professional awards for his contribution to the property industry through his work in the media.

With gravitas and deft wit, Cyrus has become a speaker for all occasions, and one to watch for the future
